Lead me to some soul today,
Oh, teach me. Lord, just what to say;
Friends of mine are lost in sin,
And cannot their way.
Few there are who seem to care,
And few there are who pray;
Melt my heart and fill my life,
Give me one soul today."   --Will H. Houghton

"Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.
Serve the Lord with gladness: come before presence with singing.
Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations."  Psalm 100

God Will Take Care of You

Be not dismayed what ere'  betide
God will take care of you
Beneath His wings of love abide
God will take care of you

God will take care of you
Through every day, Over the Way
He will take care of you,
God will take care of you.

God Knows
God knows how hard you have tried.
When you've cried so long your heart is in anguish,
God has counted your tears.
If you feel that your life is on hold and times has passed you by,
God is waiting for you.
When nothing makes sense and you are confused and frustrated,
God has the answer.
If suddenly your outlook is brighter and you find traces of hope,
God has whispered to you.
When things are going well and you have much to be thankful for,
God has blessed you.
When something joyful happens and you are filled with awe,
God has smiled on you.
Remember that whatever you are or whatever you are feeling,
God knows!

iNSPIRING THOUGHTS

Anger is a condition in which the tongue works faster than the mind.

You can't change the past, but you can ruin the present by worrying over the futher.

Love...and you shall be loved.

God always gives His heart to those who leave the choice to Him.

A hig is a great gift...one size fits all.
It can be given for any occassion and it's easy to exchange.

Everyone needs to be loved...especially when they do not deserve it.

The real measure of a man's wealth is what he has invested in eternity.

Laughter is God's sunshine.

Everyone has beauty but not everyone sees it.

It's important for parents to live the same things they teach.

Thank God for what you have,  Trust God for what you need.

If you fill your heart with regrets of yesterday and the worries of tomorrow, you have no today to be thankful for.

Man looks at outward appearance but God looks within.

The choice you make today will usually affect tomorrow.

Take time to laugh, for it is the music of the soul.

If anyone speaks badly of you, live so not one will believe it.

Patirnce is the ability to idle your motor when you feel like stripping your gears.

Love is strengthened by working through conflicts together.

The best things parents can do for their children is to love each other.

Harsh words break no bones but they do break bones.

To get out of a difficulty, one usually must go through it.

We take for granted the things that we should be giving thanks for.

Love is the only thing that can be divided without being diminished.

Happiness is enhanced by others but does not depend upon others.

For every minute you are angry with someone, you lose 60 seconds of happiness that you can never get back.

Do what you can, for who you can,  With what you have, and where you are.

Wishing your day be filled with love and peace.

TO BE HAPPY

1.  Throw out non essential numbers,
This includes age, weight, and height.

Let the doctors worry about them
That is why you pay them.

2.  Keep only cheerful friends.

The grouches puff you down,
(Keep this in mind if you are one of these grouches.)

3.  Keep learning!

Learn more about the computer, crafts, gardening,
whatever.  Never let the brain get idle.
"An idle mind is the devil's workshop."
And the devil's name is Alzheimer's!

4.  Enjoy the simple things.

5. Laugh often, long and loud.
Laugh until you grasp for breath.

And if you have a friend who makes you laugh,
Spend lots and lots of time with him/her.

6.  The tears happen.

Endure, grieve, and move on.
The only person who is with us our entire life,
is ourself.  Live while you are alive.

7.  Surround yourself with what you love:

Whether its family, pets, or keepsakes,
music, plants, hobbies, whatever.
Your home is your refuge.

8.  Chesish your health:

If it is good, preserve it,
If it is unstable, improve it,
If it is beyond what you can improve, get help.

9.  Don't take guilt trips.

Take a trip to the mall, even to the next county,
to a foreign country, but Not to where the guilt is.

Words of Strength

Think about getting rich:
friendships are priceless, time is invaluable,
health is wealth, and love is a treasure.

Create a nest egg of beautiful memories
that you can dip into from time to time
to ease any sorrows.

Have the kind of rememberances
that rise you up with their worth
and keep you there with their wonder.

Always have a secret supply of hopes on hand
to help you plan your tomorrows,
Remember that when you invest in your dreams
it is impossible to overpay.

Give away smiles.
and watch them come back to you
a hundred times over.

Stuff your pockets with kindness and optimism;
there is nothing more precious in the world.

I'm sharing this advice with you today
because you are an important piece
in the puzzle of my life.
